Dr Patel takes care of all my family
I’ve been a patient there for over a year, but my most recent visit was a disaster. I had concerns and questions, but before I could address them, I was hurried out the door. On top of that, my insurance needed to be updated. It felt like, to this doctor, that was the real issue, as if he wouldn’t get paid otherwise. Why else would insurance come up when the focus should’ve been on diagnosing my condition? It was clear to me that money came first.The patient was just an afterthought. Period.
He was not his usual smiling kind personality. Felt like I had done something wrong. My friend goes with me because she keeps record of all my visits incase something happens to me. I am not sure if that bothers him because sometimes my friend answers for me as she keeps a log for me.
I continue to recommend Dr. Patel to my friends.
Dr. Patel is so awesome. He discusses every detail of my bloodwork, and game plan for my next visit. I always look so forward to seeing him.
