Wonderful food and service! Worth the 3 hour drive for us! :) We all enjoyed delicious food and very friendly hard working employees! Love it!

For years and years it was one of my favs and we ate there often because as my mother-in-law said, "they're consistently good". My last two visits have ended my love affair with Mitchell's. I wouldn't be nearly as angry over the new $2 upcharge for selecting the Shanghai preparation if it was still the same quality. I can squeeze more ponzu sauce out of a turnip than what they now pass off. And forget about scallions and ginger. They certainly have. We are in Louisville for a tennis tournament and went there on thanksgiving. The service was excellent and the food was good. We both got seafood, the pasta and stuffed cod. My daughter loved the fat pasta and all the shellfish, the cod was very good but a little bland for my taste...but still enjoyable. I like the portion size, not a enormous amount of food. We ate all our food and had room for desert. We got the shark fin pie, which was amazing. Nice atmosphere.
Never had a bad meal there! Service is great everytime I have been too.
