Food was good....service, not so much. Reservation at 7...we finally got out of there at 9:30...sigh...
I called several days in advance to make sure they were still doing their normal Sunday to Friday Happy Hour on New Year's Day and they confirmed that they were. When I arrived we were given the Happy Hour menus, but when we looked to order, we were told they were not honoring Happy Hour today. I spoke with the manager who then said they would but no one ever came to take our drink orders or any food for over an hour so we left. The food was first rate. I had the Sea Bass with shrimp and lobster topping. It was excellently prepared. The mashed potatoes are the best I have had. Love the market vegetables. The Caesar salad is expensive but it is among the best. The service was great except we had a long wait for our food. It was New Years Eve and took around 35 to 40 minutes. My favorite place.
Our service was pitiful. It took 20 minutes ro to greated and water. Appetizer order was not rang in. Salads servered first Bread was offer but not delivered until we ask a server passing by. Server spiked champagne on table it took 15 minutes to get replacement. Food runner delivered food. Server never checked table until end of meals. Server has no desire to wait on our table. Disappointing experience. Went for my birthday dinner. Was looking forward to a nice lobster dinner to celebrate. Our waiter was either new and hadn't been trained properly, or he was just generally bad at his job. The worst part was when my lobster, and my son's crab legs, were delivered to the table without crab crackers, seafood forks or drawn butter, and after 10 minutes of waiting for our waiter to appear, I had to flag down a different waiter, who had to bring the missing items to the table. My family and I went last night. The food was very bland and the quantity was not worth the money. The waiter was not friendly and acted as if he didn't want to be there. My overall view of this place is a 2, needs much improvement. This explains why it was empty in there the whole 3 hours we were there.
The Raw Oysters were Refreshing! The lobster & shrimp stuffed cod was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! #Love
