When I place my entree order in an upscale restaurant and the server asks, "would you like soup or salad with that?" I do NOT expect to be charged separately for that soup or salad. And when I request an oyster shooter, I do not expect a tumbler of vodka, barely pink, for which I get charged $12.
Although we normally love MItchell's, tonight was a major disappointment. The service was good but the quality of the food tasted like everything was coated in salt (Calamari and the fried shrimp) the grouper was raw in the center and tough texture throughout which could not even be cut with a knife. I brought it to the attention of the manager and he took the meals off the bill but we paid for the appetizers and soft drinks. I feel like I have been licking a block of salt still two hours later.
