Can’t say I was impressed. Fried shrimp was awful. Great service but food... no.
RecommendedGreat seafood! Seafood inCarmel? Oh yeah. Don’t believe you should only eat seafood where you can see the ocean.
Great tasting food. I enjoyed the stuffed cod and the mashed potatoes were wonderful. I also had the vanilla creme brûlée. It was all very tasty!

I went in for some good fish to enjoy. When I came in just after 4pm and sat in the bar, it turned to be happy hour. Had the Chicken Lettuce Wraps for $5. The best was the Rainbow Trout. I got it pan-seared and it was some of the best fish that I've had. Thanks to Anthony in the bar for encouraging the choice. I will most definitely be back again to try some more of the Happy Hour and Prix Feature.
We enjoyed a delicious Grapefruit Basil Martini to celebrate our 50th Anniversary! Ocean Cobb Salad for me & Fisherman's Platter for my husband. We both enjoyed our choices! Starting with Lobster Bisque is always delightful & velvety!
Server was unfriendly and weird. I ate a small salad got charged 40.00 on my card instead of 9.81! Hmmmm! Never again! Called they did say they would fix. Still I don’t know if I trust it.
Overall it was OK but not the total package or experience. Hostess seemed annoyed to have to seat people, the wait (from time of order to arrival) was over 30 minutes and this was at 5:30. Way before their peak hours. I ordered their grilled swordfish and braised cabbage. It was very good! Better than expected even! No complaints there other than the portion size. I dropped in for lunch hoping the term “fresh” meant I could get a really low sodium meal. They were very accommodating leaving all seasoning and salt off my meal of fresh green beans, sea scallops and roasted red potatoes. It was excellent and my doctor’s happy.
