Kali and Miranda are great behind the bar, working the entire seating space. Never felt I wasn't being taken care. Need more management support, frankly. Mgmt could have been doing dishes, cleaning up glass breakage (from server's mishap) while Kali and Miranda served customers.

Good wine. Good dessert. Not much else. After not being to Carmel in a few years we returned to Mitchell's hoping to enjoy great seafood in a nice place. We were disappointed since the food did not live up to our expectations/memory of the place. Our bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was good, but our main entrees were a disappointment. Benjamin is was the best waiter I have ever had!!! He made my wife's and I anniversary an enjoyable one. Will be back because of him!
I have been going to Mitchell's for awhile because it is close to home and the kids have liked it. I have always loved the Shanghai Sampler but it has progressively been getting worse. Tonight pushed me over the edge when I received dried out flat scallops, tiny shrimp and when I told the waiter in a calm manner this really isn't up to par, he said he would get the manager. 10 minutes went by where I sat as my whole family ate and I waited until the manager came.
