Never a problem – I take my Camry here regularly for service, and I've never had a complaint. Mitchell keeps things up to date, explains what happens, and what he has done. Sometimes in any business like this, the mechanic is going to find an unexpected issue, but after taking the car here over 6 or so times, this has only happened once, and it sounded reasonable.
You get what you pay for - not a lot. – First, Mitchell is a perfectly nice guy. Seems knowledgable and is generally pleasant. However, if you would like your car fixed correctly and fixed the first time, beware. I had Mitchell put a new windshield in my classic Porsche 911. Not only did it look like a mess when returned, but it leaked from both lower corners. I brought it back a week later, pointed out the two areas where it wasn't sealed, and asked him to fix it. Thank you for the personal compliments. Windshields are not replaced at our shop. We give them to a Glass and Lock shop as most repair and dealerships do.The shop I use has replaced many windshields for me over the past 12 yrs with no comebacks with the exception of yours. I saw that it did leak water and did bring it back to them. They sealed the lower corners with silicone but did not test it with water as it needed to cure. Thanks to Mitchell – My car was really damage from an accident that the repair cost over $2500. Mitchel was the only mechanic that can help me get the estimation on the phone/fax, since my car is not drivable and i`ve had a bad experience with other mechanic before so i was really careful choosing the right shop. Search no more – I needed a driver's side view mirror and the dealer quoted me $150 for the part and told me it would be manual because they don't make electric mirrors any more and another $150 or so for labor. After reading these reviews I called Mitchel and he quoted me $90 for the whole thing. Not only that, he ordered it before I arrived so by the time I went there (two days later and on Christmas eve) he was able to do it while I waited. A place you can actually trust – I own a 1990 Toyota Camry which had an oil leak from August 2009. I took my car to Strauss, Pep Boys, and even One Stop Shell (a AAA approved facility yet) and they all told me that it will cost me at least $500 to fix/replace four different things or in the case of One Stop, $900 to fix everything, from the oil pan gasket to whatever was underneath it.
