Meeks isn’t a criminal lawyer! Though his office puts out an air of professionalism, he is incompetent in interpreting law, making and arguing a case, and he knows very little about the constitution! He’s easily steamrolled by opposing lawyers. Just another grab your money and not really do anything lawyer. He might do well in divorce, child support, property, but that is it!
Mr. Meeks was asked to review a construction contract for us. He said it was fine and to go ahead with it. Fast forward to issues with this contractor and consulting another attorney who immediately looked up the contractors case history (in excess of 50 lawsuits) and bankruptcy history (9 times). If Mr. Meeks would have performed proper due diligence for us, then we would not have wasted $100k on a contractor with a history of issues.
