Dr Mitchell is an awesome Dr and person . He cared about his patients and their health . I've had 4 retina detachments & the lens detach from my cataract surgery from years ago .The surgery was 5 hours long .
The wait to see Dr. Mitchell is very long but he is an excellent physician when you finally do get to see him.
Dr Mitchell has taken care of my wet macular degeneration since 2014. I’m very happy with his treatment. My vision is very close to what it was before the macular began. He stays current with the latest developments in treatment options. He explains what is happening with my eyes and why he recommends a particular procedure. I have seen many of his resident doctors that he is teaching. They are all developing great medical skills. Dr Mitchell is a very caring physician. More than anything he is my friend!
Dr Mitchell has been taking care of my eyes for the last 8 years. Every time I go in for my visit he is always so pleasant to talk to and explains everything that is going with my eyes!!
He is great with all of his patients ! He cares about his patients and his doctors that he is teaching everyone here staff included work like a well oiled machine to provided us with the best care god bless you!!

Attentive, and explained everything in great detail to make sure I was comfortable with my prognosis and why he recommended the course of action to correct my detached retina. Follow up care is phenomenal, great staff and very personable. Feel lucky that he is my Doctor.
I have seen Dr Mitchell since 2014 for wet macular degeneration in the left eye. After 50+ injections, I have close to 20/20 vision. Dr. Mitchell is a caring physician. He takes the time to explain what he thinks is the best treatment option. He stays abreast of new treatments and procedures. He pays attention to the patient history therefore avoiding over treatment or under treatment. I would recommend him to anyone needing a retina specialist, and he has become a good friend.
I have been seeing Dr. Mitchell for over two years now for Macular Degeneration in my left eye. He is wonderful. He takes time to explain everything relating to me treatment. I believe he has my well-being in mind. Strongly recommend Dr. Mitchell.
