Dr. Mandel does like biopsying a LOT! However, he doesn't care about closing the skin afterwards ... so I ended up with a nasty scar in my cheek and a HUGE crater on my upper back. Both biopsies were benign. Last summer I was sent by Dr. Mandel to oncological surgery to have a millimeter mole on my foot removed. The surgeon removed additional skin the size of a golf ball. The recovery was extremely painful and I needed several weeks in order to stand and walk properly. The histopathology analysis came out as normal. I am now... read more
No caring ….no instructions …no aftercare…blank stares no return calls I still have the tiny bump which was supposed to be removed. Don’t understand what it really is. No good explanation…no good communication. I wanted to have Dr. Mandel remove and look at it I would have had to wait a while for the appointment so I chose Alison…she pranced in with two other also very young women and Paige ended up doing the removal but I had the appointment with Alison…bait and switch ? Dr Mandel came in with an entourage of others, quickly removed something from my face, put on a bandaid and said to book a full body. No aftercare suggestions-nothing. Got too big.
Be careful. Dr. Mandel may not provide a treatment plan that is in the best interest of the patient. He did not inform me of available procedures that cost less, that were less invasive with shorter recovery time. Instead, he was quick to opt for the more expensive treatment plan that cost more, had a longer recovery time with more pain to deal with, and left me with the same problem at the end with no improvement. Terrible services. Unpleasant experience. Very unprofessional and unreasonable to patients.
Dr. Mandel is nothing short of an incredible doctor who truly cares about his patients. I have had so many issues with random blotches on my face and it wasn't until I started using Dr. Mandel's Clo + formula that they finally started to disappear. He also makes himself available to his patients at all times. He goes above and beyond an average doctor's standard of care, and he makes sure that his patient's concerns are always heard, and responded to in a prompt manner. I have been going to Dr. Mandel for Cosmetic treatments about 5 years. Over the past year I’ve noticed his support staff has become very disorganized. They’re all relatively young and do not know how to manage a busy office. Dr. Mandel has to repeatedly request syringes and charts, while his staff ignores him and continues to chatter amongst themselves. I’m sorry but When I am shoveling thousands out of pocket , I expect better.
Dr Mandel is excellent! He got to the root of a problem a different doctor wasn’t able to.
