In a business full of broken promises, lackadaisical behavior and general irritation, this company seems to rise above. From the estimator/manager to the phone staff and installers, everyone was pleasant and professional, to varying(but good) degrees. They did what they said they would do(with some cajoling), on time and with some difficulty, which I do NOT believe was their fault. While they are NOT inexpensive, I would recommend them and would use them again if I needed services of this kind.
Seems expensive – I called to get a quote on a piece of glass to replace a broken garage door window. They said it would be $200 just for the glass. I found it for $15 at another glass store.
Disappointing – Just ordered several pieces for shelves. They were very good about recutting some of the pieces when we discovered the glass was mismeasured. It's not clear who was responsible for that oops, but they showed good will by redoing it. But when scratches were pointed out, they didn't want to step up to the plate. We were ready to order several more for another unit, but they wouldn't do anything about the scratches in the first set. Too bad, they lost a sale for it.
Very Impressed! – I would recommend Mission Viejo Glass to anyone in the area looking for glass replacement. Every employee I came in contact with was extremely friendly and helpful. They showed up when they said they would and finished the job on time.
Beware of these guys. They quote you a good price over the phone to lure you in and then they come out to measure and take the order and all of a sudden the price quadruples. Total waste of time and extremely dissapointing.
