My grandmother lives here, I am absolutely flabbergasted and appalled as a person in the healthcare field. Why would a place catering towards the elderly community install heavy doors without any wheelchair accessibility? Thats a safety hazard, fire hazard and completely illegal not to mention. These doors have trapped residents in hallways. God forbid someone has a health emergency with no way to access the outside of this building. Terrible attitude here towards younger residents. And there's a problem w bedbugs in this complex. Wasn't properly addressed.
The place is infested with bed bugs that management does not care about it. Bed bugs have been reported for months, extermination company came, but the cost must have been to high. Both management and the exterminators continue to slap band aids on the problem, and lie to tenants. They have not even reported the issue to the building, but are in fact hiding it. I would never recommend.
Definitely NOT the place for minorities or younger seniors. However if you enjoy the Hutch PD here all the time then by all means apply. Management is terrible and vindictive to tenants. UPDATE!!! NOT the place to expect sympathy or empathy.
