The food was tasty, but they messed up our order BIG time and forgot half our food when my husband ordered to go. I also found a fairly large piece of plastic wrap in my food, so that was gross.
Very tasty and they had veggie option (fully vegan without cheese) so I was happy. Also a few meat options. A side salad or something included with the tamales would be nice. Otherwise, add-ons make it quite expensive for what it is.
Miss Tamale is handsdown the best Tamale shop I've been to! And one of the best tamales I've ever had period! My mother and law ran a tamale business for years and even though now retired hers are the number one, but I'd give Miss Tamale a close second. The masa has great flavor and retains the moisture for a nice soft bite. None of that dried out masa a lot of tamales have.
