Quirky tea room in the English style. A huge variety of unusual teas is available and to assist customers with their choice, a rotating stand of samples is provided on the table to have a good sniff of. We had the cream tea, which was a good attempt at an English one. The cream was not quite like English cream and neither it nor the jam were in sufficient quantity, but we thoroughly enjoyed it nevertheless. This was my third visit and totally unplanned. The atmospheer was wonderful, food a delight and ohh the tea, yum!
The ladies were very attentive and responded to our requests to 'smell' multiple different teas without hesitation. There were so many I wanted to try but was able to narrow it to one-for now. My daughter & I were encouraged to adorn ourselves with accessories so we could really feel like we were able to relive afternoon teas as they were once enjoyed.
