What a wonderful experience. Cannot wait to go back.
We spent the afternoon at Miss Minerva's for a bridal shower and I highly recommend their parlor for such an event. The shower was very nice and I heard compliments the entire time regarding the food, drink, and setting. The ladies working today were very kind and did a fantastic job with the timing of drinks and food. The sandwiches and scones were delicious, as were the two teas. Their attention to the guests with food allergies was very touching. Thank you so much- it was a wonderful afternoon!
I really want to like this place ... I went once, and had a wonderful experience. However, I drove up from Charlottesville on another day, and arrived over an hour before closing, but was told I could not be served "so close to closing time." I drove up a another time, bringing my mother from out-of-state, and the store was closed during regular business hours, with no note on their website or on Facebook as to why they were closed. A charming and wonderful place. So happy to have it local! The staff have always been phenomenal, and the wide selections of tea and treats have never disappointed.
My daughter had her 5th birthday party here with her friends. They really had a great time playing tea party and pretending to be princesses with all the fun hats they could try on. Such s fanatic little place for children parties.
Every time we visit it's made to feel like an extra special occasion. Love the food, love the tea, love the people! Can't thank Pat enough for everything she does!
