Friday night, the place is packed, line at the door, but the owner has a table for him and 3 friends? Must be doing things right as the place is packed, but could do better by not occupying the revenue source. Also, the waiter with the long scraggly hair, should not be serving food IMOP.
I hadn't looked at the reviews before going in to miss delta for breakfast/brunch on Sunday... and I am glad that I didn't as it may have deterred me!! I was with a party of six. We were seated quickly, brought water and offered coffee immediately. We all ordered something different and most of us had "special requests" - which our waitress was very sweet about. Out of Everything – I went for the fried chicken - out of white meat. They had frog legs on the board when I entered the restaurant - all gone. They were out of a beer on the menu I wanted and to top it of they were out of a desert on the menu my wife wanted. Service was bad - under staffed - but the food was good. Overall I'll give it another shot. I went a 7pm on Friday - next time 6pm.
True Southern Hospitality ..."NOT" – Ok, I am always a second chance stop in at any restaurant unless the food is so bad I cant stomach it. Yet, this place takes the cake on RUDE, RUDE servers. Great Food & Atmosphere – We stumbled on this place and were very happy with our first experience. Service was attentive and professional. I had a Bloody Mary that was had more veggie than Farmers Market.... and it tasted great. Left hungry... – So sad to have gotten the short end of the stick here. After reading all the positive reviews I was actually excited to try their food. When I arrived with my party (it was 4 of us total) we were told that they didn't have room for such a big group and that we could either wait 20 mins or sit at separate tables. Worth giving it a try – Had been a bit unsure about going after reading all the negative comments so decided to call and speak with the manager to get their perspective on why so many negative reviews. She was very forthright in taking responsibility for their staff not communicating what was going on as well as their not being prepared for the onslaught of customers from a promotional coupon. NEVER GO HERE!! – We were at this restaurant for almost 2hrs and all we got "served" was water and the two drinks from the bar friends ordered. We were quoted 10-15 min for food to be to our table....45min later we were ready to walk out. Our stomachs growling for having sat at their establishment almost 2hrs just to get food we decide were done waiting. All I ask for is honesty – Busy! Usually a good sign. 20min to be seated they said, 30 it was, ok. Another 20 to get our order in o.k. But now its getting late so when I ask how long are dinners taking, the smiling waitress said, "15-20min unless you order the fried chicken, that's taking longer.
