Wanted to try this soulfood spot that was advertised as a dine in restaurant. The atmosphere inside is nice but it is small. I had doordashers and other customers brushing past my chair. The server was very polite but he was overwhelmed and doing everything on his own. Hosting & seating, bussing tables, making drinks and serving the food so kudos to him! I had the pleasure of dining here prior to the Richard Smallwood Tribute at BSO with a few choir members. Admittedly, it was smaller than I had anticipated and 95% full when I arrived. There was one waiter who I saw handle a full restaurant single handedly, never writing anything down and served with kindness and grace. His name, Nick. Over priced
Took a little while to get my food but it was so good! Absolutely worth it. The Mac and cheese was the best.
I had I worst experience ordering through dash waited for 3 hours 7 different door dashers trying to pick my food up calling the restaurant and not getting any answers to when my food was going to be ready from the person that answered the phone she was rude also all for you all to cancel my order after i waited 3 hours for it I ordered it at 3:26 it was cancelled at 6:29 I try to support black businesses but you all definitely put a dapper on that I would not recommend anyone order from here I commented on there instagram a... read more
