Helped me tremendously
The receptionist never calls back and Ive had trouble communicating with them multiple times. Dr Mirza herself is a great psychiatrist and is always willing to listen. I just think there should be an easier way to get in contact with her such as a patient portal instead of trying to get to her through the receptionist.
Do not waste your time with Dr Mizra. She is the worse psychiatrist I've had to work with. She is rude, condescending, and does not care what is going on with her patients. Find someone who cares about you and not just your money
find her rude and condescending.....I am not a new patient. borders on being nasty, Keeps you coming for years, in this for the money???
If I could give her negative stars I would, she was extremely rude and unwilling to listen to me and kept accusing me of not taking my medication seriously despite terrible side effects that affected my everyday life. She seemed to not believe that I was experiencing these side effects and the medication was still not helping my anxiety, as if I enjoy having crippling anxiety all the time. I started crying in her office because she refused to listen to me at all, I left and would never return.
I am very grateful for Dr. Mirza. I have been treating with her for 6 years. She is very attentive to my needs.
Initially I had a problem with Dr. Mirza as I had a lot of side effects from the new medications and I felt she did not believe that I was that experiencing them. We worked through that and now she and i have a easy doctor patient relationship. I trust her to do the very best for me and she is okay with my criticism and general interest in fully understanding her directions with my treatment. I have OCD, GAD and have been able to continue working and being productive.
Did not like this doctor. ...she did not take the time to listen to my issues. I refuse to go back.
I wish I could give this place less than one star. The office staff are horrific. I never even got a chance to speak with the doctor. I called on 12/5 and my call was sent to voicemail - I left a VM explaining my issues and that I needed to be seen. I waited until about noon on 12/6 to call back and AGAIN, I received the voicemail system. I left another VM stating that my matter was urgent. NO CALLS BACK. It is now 12/7 and they never felt the need to contact me. What a terrible place.
