I’m 16 almost 17 and I was excited to see my little niece however the hospitals policy was that only 18 and up allowed for visitations and their only exception was for siblings of the baby whom can be under 18, their reasons for these restrictions were as they said “exposer”. I understand they don’t want the baby to get sick but what’s the deference between me being the birth mother’s sister as opposed to being her son. If I could give 10/5 stars I truly would. Everyone at the hospital was very respectful and supportive of my birth plan and were very informative every step of the way. When things did not go as planned they were right there beside me helping me make the best decisions for my baby and myself and after a long and very hard labor they brought my beautiful baby girl into the world safe and sound.
