It's a clinic that's owned and operated by a fortune 500 corporation. Plain and simple. It's designed for speed, standardization, low drama, and zero relationship building between patient and care provider. Take from that what you will. In alot of cases, the average healthy person with mild or seasonal sickness comes and goes. TCVS does not provide informed consent. I asked how much my travel vaccine would cost and was told “about $100.” I was later billed $450 for a single vaccine. This was an out-of-pocket service, not an insurance issue. I work in healthcare and believe patients deserve accurate cost information before consenting to care. CVS provided incorrect information, then refused to take responsibility, saying nothing could be done because I “received the service.” Transparency matters. CVS failed— and lost me as a customer.
