Went for a flu shot in October with my wife. Provided insurance info. The nurse documented our insurance, but she never told us that MinuteClinic did NOT accept our insurance. We both received a bill nearly two months later for $183 each. Obviously, we would never have agreed to pay for this when we could have went somewhere else that accepted our insurance. We have gone to CVS pharmacy’s for years for vaccinations and never had to pay out of pocket. CVS booking portal makes it seem that MinuteClinic is CVS, but it is not. H... read more
Edit: Called MinuteClinic, as requested below. They were unhelpful, and did not resolve the matter. They did not offer any sort of resolution. Rep claimed MinuteClinic is not responsible for verifying insurance. She said I could have gone to pharmacy for free (like I have historically), but because I went to MinuteClinic it’s not.
