Poor service. They have no problem making you wait, but if you slip away to the restroom or car, or standing right away from the waiting area they will cancel your appointment. But still take your money. Even if the waiting area is completely empty.
I have used Minute Clinics for years. I love the convenience and ease with seeing a doctor/PA and getting meds at same place.
Do not believe them when they say they accept walk in appointments. They do not. Make an appointment. Also, be aware that you might come in to be seen at an appointment, only to find out that they don't have the right staff on duty to perform the exam you need in order to determine treatment. I went to THREE minute clinics in one day trying to get treatment, I could not be examined at any of them, and finally gave up and went to an urgent care where I was treated within 15 minutes.
I've visited 2 times. One visit was great and I was charged my insurance co-pay. I went for a follow up and was charged as an Urgent Care visit. I questioned this at the time and was shut down. Just received my EOB for the second visit. Imagine my surprise when my EOB showed I only owe my normal office visit co-pay. Now I need to get the excess money back or dispute with my credit card company. Minus the shady charges, both practitioners were kind and attentive.
I been having really bad allergies. The NP was really nice and patient. Today is day two, I am doing so much better. I used VA Healthcare. Smooth process. Good experience. Thank you.
