My experience with the actual Dr. Was fine, but they didn't bill my insurance and instead of using my health spending card I provided to the Dr. And told her to use if I had any out of pocket expenses, she billed my debit card that I specifically told her not to use. I called minute clinic customer support to let them know i didn't authorize this and they offered zero help and said they have no staff that can reverse charge. Well minute clinic easily accessible. Pharmacy is good enough sometimes there is issues like if MD orders something incorrectly or with wrong info apparently if it’s not an established PCP or MD they can’t contact telemedicine physician to clarify any type of orders. So that leaves the patient to try and follow up with the MD to have it reordered correctly. Longer you are without your meds worse it is.
I really didn’t want to go to urgent care or the ER for something I already knew I had. I came to the CVS Minute Clinic in Naperville and met with the NP Tracy. She was great. Very friendly and outgoing. Easy to talk to. She was quick but thorough. She prescribed me antibiotics and showed me some recommendations OTC to relieve symptoms until the infection cleared up.
