Great new find! – My husband & I have finally found the replacement for our long time fabulously talented stylist/colorist who moved to S. Amer. last year. We'd tried several places around town, but with the high expectations we had, no one could live up to the task. Then a friend recommended Mint. Allison gave both of us excellent precision cuts & Charlene did a beautiful job with my color. We also love the clean stylish spa-like atmosphere and the relaxing above-the-fray location on the 8th floor.
Great Hair Model Program – I've now been to Mint Salon twice for their Hair Model program. Wendy was wonderful, super friendly and knowledgeable. I was very satisfied with the end result, you can't go wrong with a $30 dollar color in a relaxing environment. My appointments have been on Friday at 11 am, perfect for an early lunch break and a great way to end the work week.

Great Haircut! – I've been going to Allison for haircuts since the 90s when she was in Chicago, then in New York at Sassoon downtown. Now she has her own place. I'd follow her anywhere. My hair is not easy to cut and she always does a great job!
Best Haircut Ever – I have very short hair and have never found anyone anywhere that can cut my hair like Allison! I travel from Chicago to have her cut my hair. Sounds like an extravagance but it is worth it. She is the best and I would recommend her to anyone.
best haircut for men – I always get a great cut - not sometimes, not most of the times, but EVERYTIME! I hate leaving a salon not completely satisfied. I was told a long time ago that you can have the best suit on, but if your hair cut and shoes are bad, your whole look is ruined. Ray
Very relaxing experience, always a successful result – There is nothing more stressful than worrying if your haircut is going to come out right, which is why I go out of my way to go to MINT.. it's a great salon and with their highly skilled stylists, every time I am happy.
Perfect haircut every time! – The reason I started going to Mint was because my favorite stylist of all time, Nadine Pappalardi, just moved there to join her former friends from Vidal Sassoon. The space at Mint is minimal, stylish, and relaxing - just the way I like it. It's a small boutique salon and not overdone. However, for Nadine, I would follow her anywhere. The Best Haircut in Manhattan – I feel so very fortunate to have discovered Allison. She is an an incredible stylist and a wonderful person. She is the only stylist that has ever understood my thick straight hair and how it should be cut. Which isn't any easy feat! She has changed my life so that I never have to think about my hair . Her new salon, Mint, is a serene space that is light and airy high above the hustle and bustle of the city. Would highly recommend and would follow Allison anywhere.
