AWFUL SERVICE. NO DISCLOSURE OF NO DAY PASS. Luckily another gym was only a couple blocks away.

Someone had a medical emergency at this gym. There was no defibrillator, or the only staff person working did not know about it and didn't know CPR either. I'm not sure if that individual made it. Really really awful. It's also 100% a violation of DC code.

I had always considered this gym generally worth the price, but when I was told to come back to the office 5 days/week I could no longer justify the $160/month expense to go once a week. I took an official Leave of Absence in May 2025 for a three month period. One week before my Leave of Absence ended (August 15) I requested my membership be cancelled. I like MINT a lot and going before or after work has become a regular part of my routine. However, I do wish that they’d spend money on upgrading some of their equipment—check out the picture of this step stool, for instance! It’s hard to find yoga blocks, exercise balls, steps, etc. for a regular workout. There is nicer equipment in the rooms w classes, but you can’t use them if there’s a class going on. Meanwhile, they spent lord knows how much on a facial recognition entry system… I wish they’d invest in their equipment a... read more
