Several years ago I decided to forgo routine dental X-rays after realizing that I was getting a lot of radiation exposure to my head for another health problem and reading about the added risk of dental x-rays (see http://articles.washingtonpost.com/2012-09-10/national/35497544_1_dental-x-rays-bitewings-full-mouth). I like this dental clinic and my dentist, and I feel I otherwise get excellent care, but there is a very hard sell to have X-rays, and they make me sign a waiver every time I refuse. Although my diagnosis was not positive,... Although my diagnosis was not positive, Dr. Mehta and his assistant Laura gave me great service and immediate referral to a competent specialist. My timing issues were considered fully, and my treatment is on-track.
Everything was wonderful as usual!
