Wonderful Experience – I ordered from Mint for our office lunch on Friday and it was amazing. The food was fabulous, the service wonderful (they even called the next day to see how everything went), and the price couldn't be beat! I will order from them every time we want Indian from now on!!!
My favorate!! – Mint is by far my favorate restaurant ever. When i stepped in for the first time it certainly didnot look like an Indian restaurant. I was born and brought up in U.K which is why i love Indian food. This place has an excellent food and the decor compliments it very well. The service is extra ordinary as the chef him self is on the floor to help you order what you like. I definately recommend Mint to every one of you.
Good food Great Service – Well i dono abt these journalistic speculations lol.. but iv been to Mint alot and am quite happy with their food and service. Their wine list and cocktails complements their food pretty well. I do recommend the Lamb Chops whenever one goes there. If you have a group of 10 make sure you reserve the private room, its awesome for a bday treat.
Bad Customer Service, Look into Reviews... – Went here a week ago expecting to have a great Indian dining experience after reading all of the positive reviews on citysearch. The place was empty which left us questioning why it took forever just to get drinks and for our waiter to come take our food order. Enjoyed my dinner – I had dinner at Mint on a Friday evening and the place wasnt crowded at all. The food was okay, nothing spectacular. One thing that really struck a cord was the fact that the prices did not include rice, which was extra. I liked the Zentini (pricey at $12 a pop) and the decor and atmosphere were great. I would go there again but probably wouldnt order any alcohol as it is definitely too pricey. India and Indians at its best – As the review title says i was highly impressed by this indian restaurant i visited yesterday night. As recommended by my friends the reservation was useful since we didnt have to wait for a table like other people did. The restraunts interior is excellently built and sweeps you away from ur feet specially if you are indian ur self. The food was excellent and the cocktail list was great too. Extraordinary is the word – After reading the reviews here at city search and other newspapers, i decided to dine at mint. As usual me and my husband went in without a reservation and i agree with the reviews here it was a mistake. The place was packed and the only option we had was to dine at the bar which was a lot of fun. The bartenders are funny and helpful. They helped me order the food. O my gosh! – This new restra has definately got to be the best indian one around. It definately doesnot look like an average indian restaraunt with god and godesses, curtians, mirrors and all those other contemprary touches which i perticularly dislike. It is more of a trendy restraunt and has every single key to be the best one around. Excellent food, excellent cocktails. The service was fab as the executive chef was on the floor taking care of customers personally.
I felt cheated – I don't mind paying a lot of money for drinks but I don't like getting ripped off. Like all restaurants, the waiter asked my table if we want still or sparkling water. We asked for still and the waiter proceeded to give us still water but then charged us $12.00 per bottle. THAT IS ABSURD. I paid $48.00 for water. $48.00 for Vodka, ok, but not for water. The food was good, but after paying $48.00 for water I will never go back.
