Just had an awesome experience. Meat looked fresh. Reasonable prices. And they had small drumsticks! :) the smell wasn't over bearing!
I love Minnie Joe's. They treat you like family. Sometimes the service can be a little slow, but this isn't Jewel's. You are dealing with real butchers cutting real meat. They will discuss, in detail any product you ask and give history as well. Personally, I am so pleased that we have a butcher shop in t he neighborhood and especially proud that it is Black owned!!
I go here very often and the service is just wonderful. I usually go with my son and when we walk in we're always greeted with a friendly hello from everyone. I no longer buy meats at any other store, this is the location I get my meats from. When holidays come around and there's going to be a family function I come to Minnie Joes and put my order in and when it's time to pick it up, I know that I have a wonderful product.
