I expressed concerns while making an appt bc we paid about $900 out of pocket after insurance last follow-up/annual visit for them to say his eyes looked good and didn’t even dilate his eyes, then spent almost a year of trying to figure it out with billing with absolutely awful customer service on Fairviews side when we’re “in-network.” They said they had our insurance when booking recent appt and knew the name of our insurance provider, but when I called billing directly to ask about estimated costs-they had no insurance on... read more

My wife had a very bad experience visiting the pediatric eye clinic for renewing my daughter's contact lenses. The doctor who was supposed to treat my daughter's eye sent a student who was not experienced at all to take care. Orthoptists are great! Awesome personalities with a true passion for their work! The rest of the support staff and management have no care or empathy for patients who come from different backgrounds. Witnessed blatant disrespect towards a non-English speaking patient on multiple occasions. Completely unprofessional. The clinic facilitator (Melanie) and administrator (Lori) are horrible to work with! Hopefully there’s a change in staff asap to keep the reputation of these fine doctors up!

Despite confirming the care would be in-network prior to my son's first standard eye visit, we were still charged an additional ~$500 for the appointment taking place inside a hospital setting. Both my insurance and the provider said I should have called ahead to ask if there would be any additional charges beyond the visit. So yeah no, not going back here again.
