This one thousand acre attraction located just west of Minneapolis is a gardener's paradise. It is also the perfect spot for anyone who simply wishes to visit a beautiful and peaceful place. The University of Minnesota, which owns the arboretum, conducts research here and offers a wide variety of educational programs. Several miles of walking paths weave through the gardens, with a lane along side for those who wish to drive.

What a fabulous day my friend & I had! Always an amazing day even when it's cold & icy but yesterday was beautiful inside & out! Love going to the "Flower Park" as my 3 grandchildren call it! 🌹😎👍🏻👍🏻
First time to the Arboretum. Delightful evening. I would encourage everyone to venture out to see Bruce Munro' s Winter Light display!!!!
This was my second visit to the MINNESOTA Landscape Arboretum since New Year's Eve to visit the Bruce Munro Winter Light at the Arboretum. In my 30+ years in this state, I have only been on site a total of 3 times, TWICE for the MUNRO event. The staff has been very welcoming, very friendly, very informed and pleasant. I will be back!
I always enjoying visiting the Arboretum. Although, yesterday we were a little disappointed. We did expect more flowers (orchids) to view and there wasn't very many to see. Also, in the advertising for the plants for sale it mentioned that they started at $17.50 - well none of them in that price range existed. If they were already sold out - fine, but I had wished one would have been there to purchase. I felt the ones for $29.99, were a little steep. Lunch was yummy. Our visited was just "okay" this time.
Beautiful We were there for the light show at night. I want to go during the day. If it is that gorgeous at night, it must be magnificent during the day!
Brought my parents and my daughter to the Arboretum to see Bruce Munro. It was great. Everyone liked it.
