Dr. Plotkin completely dismissed my severe symptoms & pain simply because of my age: I was too young to know what I was talking about. She didn’t even want to discuss the possibility of anything actually being wrong. I described my symptoms to her and asked about the possibility of endometriosis or something similar. Dr. Plotkin is incredible. I had a couple of in office procedures that I had some nerves about. She made me feel completely at ease and described everything that was going on throughout the whole process. She is kind, warm, and informative. Her medical assistant Valerie is also very friendly and helps make the process enjoyable. Overall, it was an experience I wasn’t necessarily looking forward to, but under the care of Dr. Plotkin and her assistant, I felt completely taken care of. Highly recommend!
Terrible bedside manner. A miracle she got her license in the first place.
As someone with previous trauma, I brought my partner to an initial appt to calm my nerves. It felt like talking to a wall - she made him leave and asked me multiple times if everything was ok as if I was being trafficked. After I explained calmly why I brought him she was still uncomfortable. I told her I had severe pain with periods and she said - some people are just like that, take ibuprofen and pushed birth control hard
Worst experience Ive ever had with a doctor I’ve had in my life. No bedside manner or empathy. What started as a misunderstanding of prenatal appt expectations lead to my husband and I being spoken over, rushed and over left the rest of the appointment having me feeling too embarrassed and uncomfortable to even ask questions I should be able to ask a Doctor. 0/10.
