Dr. Mindrebo performed a rotator cuff repair on my shoulder 4 years ago and the repair and recovery went extremely well. I am a very active person and periodically over the past few years have over exerted my arm/shoulder and immediately contact Dr. Mindrebo for consultation and recommendations, etc. He and his staff have always been cordial and timely in making appointments. I value Dr. Mindrebo's recommendations and as long as I follow them.....I have zero problems.
Dr. Mindrebo is one of the kindest, caring, understanding and knowledgeable doctors I have ever met. I have been to him many times and he has yet to be wrong with my diagnosis and completely repaired any problem I was having. After his care, I am back to doing every sport I love and even adding additional activity to my life. He is a Blessed man and gives his gifts with concern, willingness and care for you as an individual; I consider him a friend as well as the best Orthopedic Physician around
Dr. Mindrebo is incompetent. He performed a right total knee replacement on me 5 years ago. He did not use bone cement. My pain continued after the TKR due to this. I had to have the replacement replaced by a doctor from Ortho Indy 2 years after my surgery from Dr. Mindrebo. He talks a good game and says he is a Christian, but instead of admitting he had done my surgery incorrectly, he put me through months of needless physical therapy.
Dr. Mindrebo has performed 11 different surgeries on different parts of my body and I literally trust him with my life. He is very professional, but treats everyone like you are his best friend and he truly cares.He has a wonderful bedside manner, doesn't try to impress you with 20 letter words for a diagnosis, spends time to answer all of you questions, never pushes for surgery unless it is absolutely necessary, & provides all possible options for treatment. I always recommend him to everyone.
Aside from being an excellent physician and surgeon, Dr. Mindrebo took the time to know me personally. Every time I came in, he asked me about my projects. If I saw him outside of the hospital, I am convinced we would regard each other as friends, shake hands and talked about whatever. I had a hard to diagnose problem and he shared my frustrations, but he came to a conclusion in terms of surgery - let's go small first and then go bigger. The small appears to have worked. Thank you, Doc!
