I was charged $1,100 for an initial psychiatry appointment. My in network deductions made my out of pocket cost $300, which I couldn’t afford and I reached out to them to see if they can offer a financial hardship reduction in cost and they were absolutely unhelpful and unempathetic. Moving forward I will always ask how much I will be charged before, but never in a thousand years would I have expected 1 hour of someone’s time to cost $1,100. I've been under NP Kora for about 2 years now and I would say shes great! She has truly helped me control my anxiety. However, the fact there's no patient portal to directly communicate with my provider is so inconvenient to the patient. Jocelyn at the front desk... I have a couple words for management about her. Please know that mental health is serious and is not something you should just treat like lightly. Dr Perlov knew what medication to prescribe for me and I I am not depressed anymore. I highly recommend him.
My therapist was very kind and extremely knowledgeable. She was very thorough in uncovering any issues that may come up.
