I’ve tried multiple times to schedule an appointment with a PMHNP, but every provider listed as “accepting new patients” has no actual availability. For someone with ADHD, remembering and following through on scheduling an appointment is already a significant hurdle. It’s incredibly frustrating to finally take that step, only to find there are no appointments available. If providers aren’t truly available, they shouldn’t be listed as accepting new patients.
