Alyssa helped me during a difficult time and helped me through rebuilding my identity as a mother while navigating the waters of my separation and how that would pave a way to a new life I was trying to build for myself without any judgement. I felt safe, validated and never once did I feel someone was giving me the answers because the answers are within ourselves. Having someone to support you in your personal journey is what made me look forward to my therapy sessions. Alyssa was so professional, caring and understanding.
Nick is a wonderful counselor. I appreciate his thoughtfulness and professionalism. Nick is patient and non-judgemental, which allows me to share comfortably at my own pace. Working with Nick has helped me to better understand and accept my authentic self. I will always recommend Mindful Roots Counseling to those seeking outpatient therapy.
It took several voicemails and emails to get a response from this practice. The email contact posted on their website is incorrect. After finally getting a response from Nick, what followed was a long series of evasive and inaccurate communications regarding availability and scheduling. Email response time was 1-2 weeks per email. Nick doesn't seem to have good reading comprehension and client engagement practices. Unprofessional.
