Please read the following everyone and consider yourselves warned. My experience with MHS is so poor that I'm coming back well over a year since I last saw one of their therapists so I can leave this review- I was called into work on the day of an appointment over a year ago. I produced a note stating this. The company policy is $175 for a missed appointment even if the patient calls in 24 hours before said appointment. They have a 48 hour policy for cancellation. The black male doctor there, I infer, has an issue with some people. It's either that, or he needs to see a psychiatrist himself, or its harmless. Nonetheless, an explanation is needed. Every time I would walk in, he would stare at me for reasons still unknown. It was a bizarre experience, so I abruptly stopped my sessions with my doctor, who was someone different. I’ve met with Doctor Thummala in Marietta twice and both times felt so much more at ease as with any Doctor I’ve ever known! She is incredible and I’m so happy I found her. Complete trust and appreciation!!
The way I was just treated by a MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDER was completely inexcusable. Dr. Thummala is not trauma informed and treated me terribly through a panic attack. Abysmal care and I won't be recommending this ever again. She used narcissistic attacks to gaslight me on the call. She kept interrupting me and not allowing me to speak and told me she was done with me when I set the boundary of not wanting to be interrupted or spoke to that way.
