Not sure where to start. Mind Australia was a life saving service that was provided to myself after having an amputation back in 2016. They filled me with hope and the possibility that life could get better & this happened. I achieved so many goals that one could only dream off with the help from a particular legend/s who was apart of their team. I have never been so traumatised and given less say over my preferences and needs then in my traumatic and scary 8 weeks receiving care from Mind, via St Vs. I work and volunteer in the peer work space and warn anyone considering utilising Mind to say no !!! Horrible organisation utterly inappropriate services.
Terrible organisation in the time ive been here, claim to have a duty of care which is a lie, things I've dealt with, death threats, mostly incompetent staff and management no consideration of one's requests, just do what management said and like it, don't have a history of suicidal thoughts or behaviour also drug use, expect to be told to use other services instead of the staff onsite. Simply look elsewhere
