local business with an edge Milwaukee PC is a good place to have your computer repaired or to buy a new one. They have great deals, especially for a local company. Their service people are fantastic and won't stop until the job is done correctly. I have never been unsatisfied by the service I got there. Milw- PC Central on Bluemound RD My computer had crashed and I thought I lost everything. The computer would not boot up windows, no safe mode, nothing. For $70 I got 6 years worth of word documents, emails, and thousands of photos recovered onto a external hard drive. My external hard drive would not work so they gave me one. Extortionists Took my laptop in after having a fake anti-virus virus pop up. I didn't install the program, but to be safe took it in anyway. They were going to charge me $190 to wipe and reinstall my computer in 3-4 days. They said it was the only way to get rid of the virus. I decided to take it elsewhere (to an independent shop near where I work-about an hour away) that charged a flat $95 fee for any virus problem with a 1 day turn around. Yikes Called Milwaukee PC the other day because I had been having problems with my desktop for some time and I thought I should finally get around to having it serviced. So the guy they send is this fat, jolly, man-child that claims he as part owner of the company. Lucky me, I thought. Anyway, he's doing his thing on my computer in my office. Helpful techies I have been dealing with computer issues for several months. The staff at Milwaukee PC have been helpful in guiding me in the right direction the solve my problems. They will also do it for you if your willing to pay.
Knows his stuff I recently needed to buy a laptop for my daughter returning to school. I know very little about them so I was relying on the sales person. The sales person explained everything about the different features and why I needed them. He was also willing to add and remove certain features. Since they build them there they have alot more freedom with what you can have. The only part that I was taken back by was the price. Great people, reasonable prices We used Milwaukee PC for the computers at our parish and school. They were very professional and friendly. Our problems were fixed, and the bill was reasonable.
Not good, you have to carry it in. They will not put software back on after they wipe off your hard drive. They do NOT offer lessons or personalized, in-home service. Often it takes 2-3 trips back to get the computer fixed once and for all.
Convenient services I was informed by a friend about their services, sometime you just can't figure out what's wrong with your computer and don't want to spend a lot of money to buy another one. I used to have a virus issue and my laptop just won't boost. I called this company and also stopped by their location to open the computer and had a inspection. They are professionals not only in hardware but in software as well. They fixed the problem and was very helpful.
