Great place and atmosphere, and of course.....GREAT BEER!!!!
Food is very good, wide variety of beers (I try a different one every year during our annual trip), great staff, wonderful ambiance overlooking the river. Our favorite stop as soon as we arrive in MKE!!!

Service was decent, but not great... mid-afternoon and not busy, would have expected better. I had the clam chowder (Not good, chicken stock base I think and horrible looking) and the shrimp ceasar salad (too much anchovy taste and shrimp still has tails on which makes it hard to eat together with the salad as to me would be the point). One, had a coconut chicken salad which she did not care for. Another had fish fry which she liked. Burger was dry and over cooked, fries where cold, my girlfriends wings barely had any sauce and where very bland, also had cold fries. Service was horrible, barely ever got checked on. Will not be coming back again.
Been there twice, both times we were seated immediately and our server arrived promptly after. No one in our party had any complaints about their food (which also arrived promptly) and my step mother was even given wonderful assistance from our server in regard to her wanting to order a gluten free cider. We will be returning to enjoy the food and drink again! I recommend Milwaukee Ale House to anyone asking my opinion.
