We are from Minnesota, just got to town ( Denton, TX.) and wanted Mexican, I looked on line and found this place...WOW... Great place to eat. The food was good, the Margarita's & the Guacamole, but talk about the best salsa, the best I have ever had!! Our server was great also, (Fabiola) If we ever come through here again, I will be stopping.
I've never had any Mexican food as good as milpas. They, hands down, have the best fresh and best tasting food ever. Try the shrimp tacos!

Loved the shrimp enchiladas. Salsa was great. I did not care for the booths with split upholstery and tacky atmosphere. They have signs that state they are remodeling. I might go back IF they actually do remodel.
Food was great but service wasn't that impressive. We had a 1 yr old with us and had ordered juice, never got that. Then ordered French fries and the waiter forgot to put the order in. It too forever for us to get our food too.
