La Milpa Mexican Restaurant has great mexican food. Very good mexican resturant. Their food is very good and so is their service. They have great salsa and their margaritas are great as well. Over all this place is great and would recommend to anyone. I will be back again.
La Milpa Mexican Restaurant is not great place to eat La Milpa has a really bad service, waitress was so nervous that spilled my drink on my back !! got all my shirt wet!! after that she brought the food and tasted like it was from days ago, nothing looked fresh!! I won't comeback..

Having lived in the Rio Grande Valley, my family had the good fortune to eat a variety of foods from regions of Mexico. We also regularly traveled into Mexico to eat...and not just in border towns that catered to an Anglo palate. Milpa is delightful and we have enjoyed about half of the items on the menu. I go for the al pastor tacos; my wife is faithful to the cheese enchiladas; and, my daughter devours the chicken enchiladas (my second favorite). Recently, we tried the Macho Taco Platter.
