Matt Dearmey is a great attorney he helped me to get the majority custody of my daughter and as a man in Orange County that’s rare. His family is well known in the Orange County courts justice system and is very well respected by other attorneys/judges for his hard work and ability to defend his clients like family. The worst experience I’ve ever had. As in previous reviews, he was rude, unprepared, created a hostile environment in court with the judge which will prejudice the court and always seemed unprepared In addition, he stopped returning calls and emails which made it impossible to be prepared for court proceedings. Go with Brown and Dahan in Newport.
Took my thousands. Lost everything in the divorce. Didn't even try to win. Unprepared. Even her attorney said I should complain to the bar. Unprofessional.
Charged me over $40,000 came to court unprepared every single time did not have the proper documentation that I provided to him months in advance. Take copies of your own documents to court if you decide you want to hire him. The only thing he did, that was good, was the deposition, but he was not able to use it in court, because he forgets things and he’s very rude. He promised me everything and delivered nothing, failed every single time. Other lawyers called him a showman.
