Dr. Rourke has become our favored vet. She has no problem discussing our Yorkies problem and what treatment she intends to use. After each visit that our our companion has needed specialized treatment we receive a call from her wanting updated on how well the patient is doing. Something no other vet has done for us.
We first met Stacy at Milliron Clinic and followed her here. She has been great with all our cats. She has such a calming presence. We recently adopted three kittens and we hope she will be their vet for a very long time.
Dr Stacy is amazing with my German Shepherd/Akita Abby- typically I have to carry her into vet offices, which is not easy when she weighs ~85 pounds, but when we switched to Dr Stacy, she feels calmer going to the vet. They treat us like family and answer any questions I have.
Dr. Stacy usually has to start our visit sitting on the floor talking with my sweet (but very, very nervous rescue ) puppy every time she comes in. I so appreciate that she takes time to make the experience better for both my girls but especially my scaredy dog. It makes everything less stressful for all of us.
Great diagnostician figuring out what had collapsed my Great Pyrenees; He was infected with a newly invasive tick born bacterium Ehrlichiosis canis.
Best vet in Athens county! Very kind and pets love her
