I have two very anxious dogs when it comes to visiting the vet. Dr. Rourke never fails to make our experience wonderful as she is so gentle and patient. She always sits on the floor with my babies and takes her time to earn their trust. Today she offered my pup a treat and she was hesitant. I told her that she prefers tennis balls jokingly. Dr. Rourke didn’t hesitate to go find a ball and play with Halle for awhile before beginning her exam. She is such a genuine person! I would recommend anyone to her practice. 😊
Dr. Rourke is a wonderful vet. She and her staff are so kind and caring. I am so glad she brought her practice to Athens.

I've known Dr. Rourke for many years and she's the sweetest, most caring, and compassionate person I know. She is very knowledgeable and will treat your pets like they're her own. I highly recommend her too everyone!!!!!😀😀
I can't stress enough how incredible Stacy is. My dogs both have very different personalities and she loves them both - and I don't mean in that fake way other vets act like they love all animals, Stacy spends time on the floor just loving on them before getting to business. Moreover, she's extremely accommodating. My schedule doesn't allow for me to be available during normal business hours and yet, somehow, this is one of the only businesses I've ever dealt with that never has problems finding time for me.
