My mom had an appointment at 11:00 am on this past Friday. Her appointment card had the date and time written on it by the front desk staff. She checked in at 10:30 AM and they told her she missed her appointment and needed to pay a $50 broken appointment fee and refused to see her. My mom is 79 years old and drives from NC. This is total BS and she should be refunded her $50 for their mistake. She is never late to her appointments. The front desk staff is very rude and yet the doctors allow this behavior. If you want personalized and dedicated treatment, this is not the doctor or location for you. Though he is friendly during appointments, he refuses to return calls to patients to clarify concerns. All inquiries are handled by the office receptionists or escalated to the office manager (she is quite rude and has poor communication skills!). Your insurance will be charged for repetitive and unnecessary lab appointments. If you do not have pressing medical concerns then lab work every 6-12m is the norm NOT every 3-4m as they re... read more
