The Mill Street Grille was formerly the staple of the elegant Walden Hotel, built in 1927. In the 1950s, the lower half was rented out to business tenants such as the Secretary of State and the basement housed the District Court holding cells that are still intact today.In 1958, Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. held meetings upstairs with other civil rights activists. A fire in the early 1970s destroyed the front half of the hotel, which faced Pike Street and is now the parking lot for those visiting the Mill Street Grille. W... read more

This is a nice night spot but the food is to expensive and really doesn't taste that good.
