When office policy came before a patient's needs My whole family has been going to Mill Creek Family Practice for 5 years. Today they would NOT let me schedule an appointment for my eleven year old daughter because of an outstanding bill we already paid! An over 90 days old bill that we were billed for last month for $75. Weâve always paid what the clinic bills. I am so disappointed. We were told NO, we could not see the doctor unless we pay first. Great Clinic I Love Mill Creek Family Practice. I have a primary doctor there, but have occasionally needed to be seen when he wasn't on duty and have been seen by 3 of the other doctors. All have been fantastic, thoughtful, kind and through. My primary doctor's nurse returns messages when I call. Having the lab and x-ray facilities onsite is helpful. I recomend this clinic!
? I started seeing Dr. Schmidt in 1984. After he was killed in a plane crash, my doctor became Dr. Bacon. I've always been treated well & the old billing department (Carole) was very helpful. I hope the service continues to be as good as it has been for me, but I'm extremely leary of the activities of the crazy administration in DC. But one shouldn't sweat the small stuff. 5 stars.
Mill Creek Family Practice I, unfortunately have to agree with the prior comment regarding MCFP. My family and I have been going there for 16 years. Recently we have been unhappy with the follow through of the Dr's. The prior reviewer is right, the doctors do not return phone calls. Care and concern only as deep as your pocket My family and I had been patients at MCFP for over 8 years and were overall happy with the care received until I no longer had double insurance coverage. As soon as my family was covered by only one insurance provider our level of care dropped dramatically. MCFP has a gestapo style billing department that is completely unwilling to work out payment arrangments with patients. Over the years I have also noticed an extremely high turnover of physicians. Hamill Cheryl - Mill Creek Family Practice is unethical I have been a patient there for 20 years......my husband could not pay 700 dollars all at once for an MRI, he has been paying monthly and making honest efforts......The bill was down to 400 dollars.......we called to make another appointment and was told we needed to pay 250 dollars to see the doctor.....we were not offered any alternative....We were told by the "administrator" that she was a nurse and could determine the acuity.......she did not ask appropriate medical... read more
DON'T DO IT!! Patient beware. In the two months I have been a patient at this clinic, they have lost my labs, requested unnecessary procedures, required repeated visits for treatment of very basic illness and have been rude, unreachable and inattentive to their patient needs. I have had a bladder infection for almost two months because of their inability to treat a simple female ailment that could become very serious if left untreated for so long. PLEASE DON'T RISK IT! Yes, Patient Beware! Where do I start? One of the main doctors, whose name I will not mention, ruptured my 11 year old daughter's ear drum when he was trying to flush out her ear wax. I took her to a couple specialists to have her hearing tested. Since then, my daughter has pressure sensitivity and pain in that ear due to the scar on her eardrum. Also, I had a small mole removed. caring doctors I started my pregnancy out here, and was very pleased with the obstetricians at this office. Unfortunatly due to my having twins and turning high risk I had to switch to a perniatoligist, but the months that I was a patient here at mill creek family practice, I never had any problems. The staff was always so polite and appointments are very easy to come bye. The office is decorated nicely and parking is wonderful.
