Great store� Staff is friendly, helpful and knows their products... Been going to MCR for 3-4 years since I heard from a local Olympian about a run they were having, I checked them out and haven't looked back (at my old running store). Give lots of information nights. Speakers. Runs. Truly there for their customers.
The Mill City crew are all around good people, especially Sara. They'll do their job to the fullest. They'll make sure you walk out with the perfect shoe. I did, and I'm very thankful for that!!
Initially was surprised to see mill city running company organizing a fun run out at my favorite local trail today, but as I thought about it during my run, they're always hosting great events for our community, and I think that's what sets them apart! Not only did their staff wisely introduce me to my beloved peregrine running shoes, but I've been to their Tuesday talks, heard great stories of their pancake breakfast runs, and keep seeing some awesome engagement with the community in general. Best running store experience ever! I follow "I � northeast" Facebook page and asked about running stores in Northeast Minneapolis and was quickly flooded with the same response over and over- Mill City Running! I went and got new shoes and some weather gear. They were so encouraging and helpful and even invited me to be a part of the running club. This afternoon I put on my new gear and ran my personal best yet. It must have been all the positive vibes and encouragement. Definitely going back!
Great place, very supportive for first time marathoners. High energy, lots of enthusiasm.
