Milk and Cookies Bakery – I am disgusted with the "transformation" of this quaint little bakery in our neighborhood. The new owner is rude to her employees--INFRONT of customers and while standing there, didn't even acknowledge us--the customers. The poor girls behind the counter are obviously working very hard and the owner looks like a ravaging beast bossing them around. The "renovations" are stagnant and unwelcoming. New Owner = Temper Tantrums and Awful Product – I WAS a regular customer at this quaint little cookie shop...I thoroughly enjoyed the cookies, the staff, and the owners, Marc and Jen. Since selling the bakery to a godzilla-like woman last month, things have all gone to hell there. Best cookies ever – The service was very friendly and helpful. We got our custom order of cookies very promptly and they were delicious. They don't skimp on the ingredients so each cookie was bursting with chocolate chips and the cookies stayed chewy for a few days. If you get a custom batch, definitely ask for one fresh out of the oven - it's pure heaven - and the staff will happily accomodate.
Definitely Use For Deliveries – I placed an order from across the country for delivery on the Upper East Side. Customer service was excellent, especially since I changed delivery times on day of delivery. Cookies arrived fresh at the requested time change. Will absolutely use Milk and Cookies Bakery again and recommend anyone to try.
Moist and delciious Chocolate chip... – The chocolate chip is quite nice and makes you close your eyes with delight. Buy some for the loves in our life and after dinners out stop by and sneak a few for yourself.
Bad customer service and terrible quality – This place was just what I needed in the neighborhood when it first opened. Cozy, cute and a great spot to meet up with friends! However, I refuse to go here anymore! My last few experiences have been awful! Everytime I go in the counter girls are either talking to one another or talking on the phone. & rude service & stale & . . . – I brought my parents here to enjoy a "home-made" treat. Instead we encountered rude service and lousy food. The chocolate chip cookie was stale and lacked any hint of flavor. The walnut brownie had one walnut in it and was also stale. The ice cream must have been freezer burned and ended up making us all sick that night. It was all slopped into a deli-style to-go containers even though we were eating it there. Disgusting!!
