A loyal patron to Milk Bar...been hooked since first visit to their flagship store in NYC. Their desserts are just on a different level. They combine flavors of childhood for us millennials with a modern spin. I have never found an item I didn't like. As a non sweet lover, even I can enjoy their desserts. Had such a great experience at Milk Bar tonight! Juan and his coworker were incredibly helpful and kind from start to finish. Juan gave us awesome recommendations and they were so generous in letting us sample different soft-serve flavors so we could figure out exactly what we wanted. Everything we tried was delicious — the ice cream was amazing and the cookie was just as good.
Milk bar is excellent and Juan and the other lady working tonight were super nice and very helpful getting our sweet treats. They let us sample different flavors and they had helpful recommendations.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for years. Don’t waste your time. It’s looks nothing like it displays its desserts online. We were told they could make an Oreo milkshake and they just gave us a chocolate shake with chocolate chips and then wouldn’t refund our money. Terrible customer service and beyond subpar baked goods. Would never go again.
I ordered the triple Quadruple Chocolate Cake Slice and it tastes like dry salt and butter. It's super bitter and tastes like they didn't mix the batter properly. I am a HUGE chocolate lover and eat all kinds of sweets all the time, so I know a good slice of cake when I have it. This ain't it. The $5 slices at Safeway are infinitely better than this. I tried it cold and warmed up in the microwave. It's just nasty either way. Super disappointing. Don't waste your money.
